CAPE.Net through a petition for affiliate status to the American Evaluation Association (AEA) created a network for program evaluators throughout Connecticut, Rhode Island and Western Massachusetts. CAPE.NET became an affiliate of the American Evaluation Association in November of 2004.
.
The purpose of CAPE.Net is to fulfill the mission of AEA within a network of program evaluators in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Western Massachusetts in order to improve and enhance evaluation practices and methods, increase use and promote evaluation as a profession within the area.
CAPE.Net is an association of evaluators who will attempt to come together three to four times a year to participate in activities, discuss and explore issues related to program evaluation. The primary objective of the CAPE.Net is to create a local network of evaluators who seek to engage in and improve evaluation practice, promote evaluation as a profession, and share information with respect to tools, designs, findings, and theories. Because the group is comprised of many people from the field, the network is interdisciplinary and diverse.
